If you live in an area where ticks are a problem for your dogs and cats then please check this. It shows tick removal the right way.

  1. When I was a kid, we used to use cigarettes and matches to remove ticks. A while back though someone turned me onto eyebrow tweezers with the pull and twist method and this works well, too.

  2. The thing about putting a glove on and moving the tick in a circular motion does work, but it the tick comes out faster if you use vaseline because the tick feels like its suffocating and crawls out faster. This way ensures that the whole head comes out.
