Disaster Search Dog in Training is a short post with videos relating to the training of a Disaster Search Dog.
I found it very interesting and thought you might as well. I can’t imagine the hours of training it takes to get a dog to do this. I know it is worth it because we’ve all seen the result when search dogs find people trapped in rubble when humans can’t. Many people are live today because of disaster search dogs.
As much as I hate to say it I think we will be needing them more and more as time goes by.

Can you imagine the stress being put on their paws, pads and legs. These are real heros.
