Cat and Owl Friends Forever

I truly enjoy seeing different species interact in a positive way. I just found this video I call the Cat and the Owl Friends Forever.

I have another post here about a Great Dane and a Goat in Texas that made big news when they were rescued and placed in their new home. I love a mystery and to me, these animals are a complete mystery to me.

What is it about an Owl that could possible give a cat the time of day? What is it about a cat that make it want to play instead of kill a bird? I would greatly appreciate any answers which would provide some insight or solution to those mysteries.

Fum is a lovely and playful black cat. Gebra is a Barn Owl. Both are approximately a year old. Enjoy the video!

Again, if anyone knows what causes a Cat and Owl to become friends forever or a Great Dane and a Goat, please do let us know. I’m sure I’m not the only one that would like to know. I know that sometimes circumstances can put two species together from birth and I understand how that friendship can sometimes grow but what about all the other friendships that have developed or that you have heard of or seen.

  1. This is so cute!
In terms of what causes interspecies friendships like these, I don’t think anyone knows for certain. It seems to happen a lot with kittens and young domesticated cats, though. I read a post about chimps and monkeys adopting pet cats, which some people said showed the similarity between chimps and ourselves. However, this seems to be a much more common phenomenon, with incidences of cats making friends with crows, turtles, dogs and even rats being reported!

Thank you for the wonderful video! I’ll be spreading the word
for friends to watch it. If only we humans could so easily
make friends with other living creatures unlike ourselves.

I look forward to seeing more of your aesthetic and heart
warming works. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful
    vision with all of us.

    Sincerely,

    Anne Evans
