I found this short video about Bad Behavior in Dogs Training Solution. I like dog training tips that are simple and easy. We don’t all have the knowledge or patience that dog trainers have. I like bringing you dog training tips that you and I can do as regular dog owners, not trainers.
This video makes total sense to me knowing that you have to establish yourself as the pack leader. And, this can be done without hurting the dog.
Perhaps another reason this peaked my interest is that we just got a 9 week old Chorkie who thinks she is in control of everything and everyone including my other 6 year old dog. They are working out their pecking order but I need to get Daisy educated on who is really in charge.

On a side note, while I don’t ever recommend a dog crate as a punishment for bad dog behavior, proper crate training can help teach you dog who the pack leader is. The dog crate has so many uses which I won’t go into here. If you would like to find out more just click the banner below.

Grat tutorial! Im gonna try this on my own dog! Her name is Ginger and well she’s very active and I cant seem to make her stop at times. This will be very helpful so thanks a lot! 🙂
There are times when the owner needs to establish control just by keeping calm and firm. The attention span of some dogs are short and they tend to get distracted. So long as the owner just stay firm and simply wait for the right moment to establish his position as a pack leader will be fine.
But as we all know, most of us tend to get a little bit impatient instead of being calm and firm. So its a matter of staying assertive yet steady.
