Thundershirt My Personal Thundershirt Experience Review

It’s been over a month now that I’ve been using my Thundershirt so I want to give you now, details of my personal Thundershirt experience review.

Daisy is a 9 month old Chorky which means part Chihuahua and part Yorkie. I will tell you that the Yorkie part is dominant. Those of you with Yorkie experience will know what I mean.

Daisy truly believes that everyone who comes through the front door came to see her and only her. She jumps wildly as if she were a child on Christmas morning. She especially loves my grandchildren ages 2 and 4. She jumps up and on them at every opportunity to the point of making them cry. That was the real reason I ordered the Thundershirt.

So, what happened when the Thundershirt arrived? Oh how I wish I had a video of this. The grands came over and Daisy is doing her usual jumping up on them. I took her aside and put the Thundershirt on.

What happened? Well, she became a Thundershirt statue. She wouldn’t move, not a hair, not a twitch, not a step. She wouldn’t move. After a couple of minutes of this I removed her Thundershirt. She was off and about her usual business like it had never happened. I waited about 5 minutes and put the Thundershirt back on her. This time she did the statue thing for a minute then took a couple steps then off to hang with the kids but, in a slower calmer manner.

I left the Thundershirt on her. She was as calm as could be. She followed the kids but did not jump on them. I left her Thundershirt on for about 15 minutes then took it off. I noticed something I didn’t expect and, I find it still happens today. I found that after having her Thundershirt removed she remained calm and quite a pleasure to have around.

The Thundershirt people haven’t mentioned this that I am aware of and I’m sure it varies from dog to dog. With Daisy, the Thundershirt seems to leave a residual effect of calmness. Again, that’s just Daisy. I don’t know if it happens with other dogs.

Did the Thundershirt work for me? You bet it did. It worked far beyond what I expected. Of course, I recommend that anyone who has an excitable dog, a dog with separation anxiety, noise phobia or any of the other canine anxiety issues try the Thundershirt. It doesn’t cost much especially for what it does. And, there’s a money back guarantee as well. How can you beat that Thundershirt offer. I’ve not yet had anyone ask to return their Thundershirt.

I’ve had a couple of visitors here when I put Daisy in her Thundershirt. They all want to know “what’s in it”? When I tell them nothing is in it, they believe it must be some sort of magic. In a way it is in that it just simply works to calm a dog. The dog is happier and the people around the dog are happier. It upset me to think that some didn’t like my dog because of her behavior. Thank you Thundershirt.

For the record, you don’t have to have a small dog like Daisy to use the Thundershirt. It works on big dogs just as well.

If you have been considering Thundershirt consider my personal Thundershirt experience review. It worked for me and worked beyond my expectation. The next time I use the Thunershirt on Daisy I will take some photos for this post so you can see her in her Thundershirt.
